Refund/Cancellation Policy

At Modern Day Wild Woman, we put deep care and intention into everything we offer—from our retreats to coaching and certification programs. Because our experiences are high-touch, limited capacity, and often require extensive preparation and financial commitments on our end, we’ve established the following policy to support fairness for all involved.
 

RETREAT CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Life happens — and insurance can help you recover costs related to your retreat, travel, or unexpected changes.
Our preferred provider is Allianz Travel Insurance, offering comprehensive, easy-to-use coverage for trip cancellations, delays, and medical emergencies.
Feel free to use any provider that best fits your needs.
By submitting your registration and deposit, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.


CLIENT INITIATED CANCELLATION:

  • More than 90 days before retreat start date:
    You may cancel for a refund minus a non-refundable deposit (Deposit is ).
    You may also choose to transfer your payment (minus the deposit) to a future retreat within 12 months.
    * Payments using discount codes incur additional fees for refunds.

  • 45-90 days before retreat:
    50% of your total payment will be refunded or transferred to a future retreat 

  • Less than 45 days before retreat:
    Due to the nature of planning, no refunds or transfers will be issued. You are welcome to gift or resell your spot to another woman (pending our approval of the replacement guest).

Please Note: No refunds will be issued for missed travel, late arrivals, early departures, illness, or emergencies. Travel Insurance is the best solution to protect potential cancellations. 
 

PROGRAMS, COURSES & CERTIFICATIONS

All digital or hybrid programs (such as the Soul Science Methodology™ Certification) are considered final sale.

  • Once you’ve received access to program materials or attended any live sessions, no refunds will be issued.

  • If you need to withdraw before the program begins, contact us directly to discuss potential deferral or partial credit toward a future offering.

  • Payment plans must be completed in full as agreed, regardless of program participation.
     

COACHING SESSIONS

  • 1:1 Sessions:
    Must be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. No-shows or late cancellations will be considered forfeited.

  • Packages:
    Are non-refundable once the first session has been delivered. If exceptional circumstances arise, contact Misty directly.
     

PROGRAM CANCELLATION BY US

In the rare event that Modern Day Wild Woman LLC needs to cancel or postpone a retreat or program due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, illness, etc.), you will be offered:

  • The option to transfer your payment to a rescheduled or future offering
     

In the event that Misty is unable to attend due to emergency or illness, a qualified substitute facilitator or co-leader may be appointed to lead or co-lead the retreat or program to ensure the continuation and integrity of your experience. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs in the case of cancellation.
