about sovereign sisters’ society

and Founder Misty J. Dickerson

I spent most of my life navigating the chaos of what my parents handed down to me, reliving pain and seeing through an unclear lens. I hit a wall, and I was no longer willing to walk in that direction. I made a drastic change and committed to seeking truth, doing the work to find and embody healing, to change my programmed reactivity and ways of living so I could live the life that I chose to create!

In my continued process of growth, I found that I was no longer fitting into the groups of women that I’d associated with. I wanted to call in a space for a sisterhood with women who were on a similar path.

I created Sovereign Sisters’ Society to bring together the women who are ready for growth, accountability, and rewriting the scripts. We utilize the sacred space of this community to connect and build healthy and fulfilling relationships while constructing sustainable, wholesome roadmaps for our lives. We cultivate a place where every woman can come as she is, and find a place to be witnessed, to relate, and to find joy in her path of growth.

Don’t worry about not being ready! You are most likely the only one in your way, and the relieving part about that is YOU ARE IN CONTROL. Each of our paths are uniquely different, but the magic is found when we find humbleness, wisdom, and breakthrough moments in witnessing the similarities.

Through my deep work and practice with women in childbirth, and my profound experiences witnessing, guiding, and holding space in the most vulnerable of moments, I saw into the depth of a woman’s capabilities. I felt a strong calling to help awaken and guide the inner wisdom and strengths that we all have within. I utilize meditation, visualization, art, science-backed education, and the cultivation of sisterhood and community to bring us together while helping us grow individually.

It is my life’s calling to serve my fellow women in times of big transition, whether it be birth or the long, bold journey of self-growth.

I am a woman committed to self-growth, truth, accountability, and sisterhood. Join me if you are on a similar path.
